The Regional Support Centres (RSC) promote and support the use of
Information Learning Technologies (ILT) to sectors of post 16 learning.
The RSC South East are looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, well
organised, person with excellent interpersonal skills, to work with FE, HE,
adult and community learning providers (mainly Local Authorities in the
first instance) and specialist colleges in their region, to provide support
with the use of information and learning technologies. You will support each
sector with developing and implementing the use of ILT.
You will have experience of supporting ILT and have knowledge of the use of
information and learning technologies within an educational environment in
addition to being IT/ICT literate. The role demands that you are
approachable, with excellent communication skills, including the ability to
communicate with senior personnel.
The post will involve regular travel throughout its region and occasionally
beyond. This post is fixed term until 31 July 2006 and is based at the
Reading College office.
