Science, Social Science and Health Subject Assistant (Ref: BS04179)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, resourceful, self-motivated individual
with excellent communication skills and initiative for supporting high
quality research and teaching.
You will work closely with Subject Librarians and academic departments
to develop library collections and provide information support,
including web pages, and information skills training.
Excellent organisational skills and a positive response to change are
essential. Knowledge of some of the subjects or experience in delivering
information services, and a degree and a professional qualification will
be an advantage.
Salary within the range: £15,603 - £18,015 per annum. The post is
available immediately and is fixed-term until 9 November 2005 in the
first instance.
The closing date for applications is 26 May 2004. Interviews will be
held on the morning of 22 June 2004.
