Eduserv Chest Exhibition at Birmingham Botanic Gardens on 6th May
----------------------------------------------------------------
The booking deadline for the exhibition has now been extended to 30th
April.
Following the announcement about the forthcoming Exhibition at the
Birmingham Botanic Gardens on 6th May, we have received information from
some of those suppliers of science related products who will be
exhibiting.
This exhibition will be of interest to representatives from sites
already licensed for the products - to find out the latest developments
and to provide valuable feedback to suppliers and to Chest - as well as
to representatives from sites wanting to know more about products to
which they do not yet subscribe.

CAS / SciFinder(r) Scholar(tm)
SciFinder(r) Scholar(tm) is recognised as a valuable resource for two
reasons. Firstly, it provides access to the comprehensive CAS databases,
with bibliographic information for chemical and related scientific
literature and patents back to 1907, plus the world's largest chemical
substance database, CAS Registry. These CAS databases are complemented
by MEDLINE back to 1951. Secondly, SciFinder Scholar's intuitively easy,
graphical user interface enables scientists to use this desktop tool
immediately to "point and click" their way through the world's chemical
information, identify literature and patents of interest, and even link
to the full-text documents on the Web. In short, users of SciFinder
Scholar can discover patents issued yesterday or in some cases read
journal articles even before they are published.
The following suppliers will be exhibiting:
Bartholomew CambridgeSoft CAS Elsevier
Emerald
ER-Mapper ESRI Gael Getmapping
IEE
Knovel Corporation Mapinfo PCI NAG
Thomson-Henry (H W Wilson products)
