THE BUSINESS INFORMATION SERVICE, MANCHESTER BUSINESS SCHOOL LIBRARY AND
INFORMATION SERVICE
introduces their
2004 BUSINESS RESEARCH SKILLS TRAINING COURSE PROGRAMME!
Throughout 2004, the Business Information Service at Manchester Business
School Library is once again running its popular training course programme,
covering a range of cutting edge topics of importance to all librarians,
researchers and information professionals. The courses offer high quality,
affordable training at a leading international business school with premium
facilities. Delegates from the regions will also benefit from the school’s
prestigious location in a thriving city centre, without the expense and
inconvenience of travelling to London.
Dominic Broadhurst, Head of the Business Information Service, says:
“These courses are unique in terms of both the range of topics covered and
importantly in providing delegates for the first time with the opportunity
to access this type of training outside London. Delegates can save time and
expense by coming instead to one of Europe’s leading business schools”
The programme, which will run throughout the year, will be facilitated by
expert tutors Karen Blakeman, Chris Murphy and Paul Pedley. They will
deliver a variety of practical workshops and seminars on a range of
subjects such as an introduction to corporate finance, accessing business
information on the Web, freedom of information and data protection.
The courses are open to all and are competitively priced at £250 + VAT
(including lunch, tea & coffee). For more information on the programme
content and course dates or to view or download a brochure click on

Information Service on 0161 275 6502.
