A week or so ago I asked the list about the management of DVD collections
and equipment. I received a number of very useful and informative replies
which will help our library formulate a system for access to, and management
of, our new DVD collection.
I am now interested to know what sort of DVDs academic libraries are
stocking. Initially we are stocking feature films recommended by Media
Studies tutors. Are other libraries limiting DVD stocks to films or are
their DVD collections more wide ranging? Are any libraries recording
television programmes onto DVDs? If so, are these DVDs proving popular with
library users?
Many thanks,
