INTRODUCTION
EBooks can be described as simply downloadable, readable versions of
books. E-learning has been defined as the delivery of content via all
electronic media and encompasses all learning undertaken through
electronic delivery.
What is the picture in relation to the library and information world?
This seminar aims to give an overview of new developments nationally and
regionally with regard to the technology and innovative projects.

of the East of England branch of CILIP and ANGLES members. (In order to

CILIP and non-members of ANGLES there will be a charge of
£30.00 + £5.25 VAT = £35.25 total.
The venue is the Town Close Room at the University of East Anglia
Sportspark (attendance limited to 65). The address for correspondence

DEFINITIONS
A member of the East of England branch of CILIP is someone who lives and
works in the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex,
Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and the unitary authorities of Luton,
Peterborough, Southend and Thurrock.
ANGLES is an organization consisting of a number of library and
information services throughout Norfolk and Suffolk. Its aims are to
promote co-operations between members and to improve access to
information. A member of ANGLES is someone who is employed by the
information services of one of the following:
