Information for Scotland

This year's Information for Scotland conference will review the
cross-domain
cultural landscape of archive, library and information services, and
museums
and galleries. Outcomes of the breakout and plenary discussions will be
presented as feedback to the Scottish Cultural Commission. A range of
issues will be addressed by our speakers who include Dr Irene O'Brien
chair
of the Scottish Council on Archives, Jim Tough from the Scottish Arts
Council, Dennis Nicholson from the Centre for Digital Library Research and
Sheila McClure from the National Museums of Scotland. There will be the
opportunity for delegates to participate in breakout sessions that will
explore Education, engagement and marketing, Institutional infrastructure
and Service delivery. Also, there will be an opportunity over the lunch
break to view posters and web demos.
