The University of Bradford Library is currently advertising the
following vacancy:
Electronic Resources Librarian
ALC 2 or 3, £22,507 to £35,883 a year, depending on qualifications and
experience.
Responsible for the strategic development, planning and implementation
of the library's electronic resources and services, we are looking for
a pro-active individual to join our Systems Team, which has
responsibility for delivering computer based services to the Library
for staff and library users.
With a good honours degree or postgraduate qualification in
Librarianship or Information Science, you will have a minimum of two
years experience in an academic library at a professional level,
including acquisition and delivery of electronic resources.
It is likely that you will have operational experience of managing
Metalib portal software and SFX context sensitive reference linking
software, or experience with similar products.
Able to demonstrate continuing professional development, you will be
fully up to date with developments in the production, delivery and use
of electronic information and digitisation in academic libraries.
