Two vacancies for professional staff have recently been advertised by Information Services at the University of Nottingham. These posts will be based in the University's new Business Library opening in September 2004 - one post for a Subject Librarian and one for a part-time Senior Library Assistant. **Team Leader - Business
£28,842 - £34,439 per annum
Salary can progress to £41,122 per annum, subject to performance
Applications are invited for the above post based in the new Business Library opening in September 2004. The successful candidate will lead on the delivery of library services to Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) and the Institute of Work, Health and Organisations (I-WHO).
Candidates should be educated to degree level, preferably in a relevant subject, and have a professional library qualification with at least five years' relevant experience. Experience of training users, using online information resources and supervisory experience are also essential. This post is open to job share.

***Senior Library Assistant (Part-time)
£16,942 - £20,229 per annum, pro rata
Salary can progress to £24,155 per annum, pro rata, subject to performance
The successful candidate will work as part of a team led by the Business Team Leader, providing information services and resources to the Business School and the Institute of Work, Health and Organisations. Good organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, together with the ability to use a range of printed and electronic resources. Candidates should have a degree, preferably in a relevant subject discipline, a library qualification and at least one year's experience in an academic or subject library. Hours of work are 16 ¼ per week, 11.15 am -2.30 pm Monday to Friday inclusive. Please quote ref. JLM/054. Interviews will be held on 11th August.
