Don't know what Fedora really is, I thought it was dead.
CentOS basically yanks the sources from RedHat for RHEL,
strips or replaces the logos and "redhat" strings,
recompiles + makes RPMs. So aside from not being able
to use RHN and a few other proprietary redhat things,
it is an exact copy of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
I heard bad things about Fedora, such as being weeks late with kernel
upgrades.
CentOS just released 3.3 ... I was running 3.1 and just typed
'yum update', an hour later (at home over DSL) was running 3.3.
Works well.
