we got a rescue cat and she was great for 6 weeks...until she found the road
at the front of the house and fairly soon afterwards transformed herself
into a 2D black furry object...still haven't had the courage to tell the cat
rescue people...

Subject: badgers
I too have badgers in my garden.
:) (and red squirrels)
Last week I adopted 2 elderly cats from a cat rescue and one buggered off
out of an open window 2 days later. Never to be seen of again.
Now the cat rescue are a bit annoyed with me to say the least.
Leaflets have gone to the neighbours and cat traps set in the garden, but
the cat is still missing.
The cat rescue lady comes twice a day, and is now saying she will camp out
in my garden to try to spot the cat in the early hours as she has never lost
one before and feels responsible.
Attempts to lighten her mood by putting the cat trap on the shetland ponys
head, and putting various postcards from the cat have failed.
My theory is either the butler or the badger did it.
Do badgers eat cats?
