actually, while we may be able to resist (and the LMC is considering a
motion for the national conference), the hospitalas will be implementing it.
We will thus get loads of patients coming to ask whjat the letter means and
they will soon twig that they are entitled to have a copy.

Their right? Enshrined in law? No.
In your contract? No.
Your problem? I don't think so, although it appears that others do. If
you remember the mantra of the contract - extra work will be fully funded.
This is a minor initiative that nobody important really cares about. It
will die.
