I am currently looking at a trial version of a medical reference for
pocket PC on an XdaII called PEPID
http://www.pepid.com/products/pcp/default.asp?product=PCP
which is very impressive altho markedly north american oriented and a
little too much secondary care biased it is still extremely useful in UK
especially for e.g.:
Drug interactions, side effects and contraindications
Resume of rare conditions
Almost every medical calculator and scoring system in existence e.g.
abbreviated mental test scores, pregnancy, Glasgow coma scale and even a
pocket eye chart to be used a 14" !!
Cost to buy £80 but as all in one place, easy to carry, quick and
updatable and tax allowable I am tempted to part with the cash.
Anyone else tried it
