That case may encourage a bit more use of encryption and less effort to
keep all NHS communications open to reading.
At present I lack some details, but it seems likely to me that the new
email system _claimed_ and drawn to be encrypted as though end to end,
is actually not so, and mail is decrypted at the intermediate server and
either stored as plaintext or conceivably re-encrypted under another key
owned by those in charge of the server.
This is not what I regard as end to end encryption.
