As Michael has said I'm not happy either with the deal negotiated on our
behalves.
However Gavin's point is basically sound.
In respect of e.g. Maternity care we were not paid until long after the
work had been done. On top of this delay in payment for work done we were
NOT paid monthly in arrears, but quarterly, while each month we received
an advance which was always less than a third of the quarters fees.
We haven't (yet) modelled the cash flow for the next financial year, but
it's not looking to me that cash is the major issue. Micro-management, IT
and the consequences of the OOH opt-out (we already had voluntary
co-op/deputizing) are all looking worse not better as time goes by.
