Several times. Avidly.
An acquaintance tells me the Phillipines is captured well.
Most recently read (by him) Quicksilver - a book which is thicker than
Cryptonomicon. And good.
The Diamond Age is excellent also , on the whole, and his essay which is
freely circulating on the 'Net - "In the Beginning Was teh Command Line" is a
classic of 'Net culture.
You should also search for the long Wired article on the laying of the round
the world fibreoptic cable.
His other large SF novel is "Snowcrash" which I enjoyed greatly.
