Bringing up kids is heaps easier than bringing up a puppy.
Kids can be left to their own devices - a hungry child will eventually find its way to the biscuit tin (a hungry puppy just chews the furniture); Most kids do get to the point of requiring less attention (puppies become dogs who always bound up to you with wet paws and muddy tails wanting attention); One day children will be able to pick you up after parties when you've had too much to drink (dogs drag you out on a lead even when you've not slept the night before)...
Give me kids any time!
