HUTTON: hut-on, n a statement or action designed to cover-up an
official misdemeanour or to rehabilitate a sullied reputation; also
hut-on, v to attempt to give an object or action a better impression
than it deserves; hut-o'ni-an, adj relating to the example set by
Brian Hutton, Baron Hutton of Bresagh, law lord (ret'd).
Fab!
Does this apply to other Huttons, as in "Health Minister John Hutton said
the new GP contract heralded a new era in wonderfulness in NHS primary care
and a much more satisfactory way of working for the thousands of extra
doctors being recruited into general practice"
