To an old codger this is just a re-run of "3rd generation pills are
better than 2nd generation pills" -- all based on nice, superficially
convincing, biochemical theories but no hard end points.
(which would cost a fortune to research, even if they could
find enough Drs and patients to join the research).
Gynae wanted to put some one I know with endometriosis on
Yasmin -- when challenged admitted that the drug company
had suggested that it ought to be better. Patient was paying
the drug bill!
