It is my opinion that at present it is not possible to be sure of that.
We await guidance from the GMC on what is a satisfactory professional
performance in this, I suspect it would be necessary to consider health and
safety at work legislation if things do change, and in the middle of this
case is no time to rely upon doing carefully what we have done, I think, with
varying degrees of care and unease previously.
