If the new contract stuff had been sorted at the special meeting and not
rehashed at the next, scheduled conference of LMCs, we could have spent much
longer on IT.
I think that was a pity.
Paul Cundy's view was that there was no possibility of opposing the
government's desire on IT.
Looking at the objective correlation of forces involved (consider the
Microsoft Billions - this might be the last big Windows based system) he may
well have been right.
But I'd have liked more attention to a go at it.
