I'm trying various workarounds at present. One suggestion is to subscribe
twice to lists, once as my dial.pipex.com account, and once as my nhs.net
account, but for the latter set up a [no e-mail] option. I will probably go
down this route for yahoogroups - I subscribe to a number of Yahoo lists,
not all to do with computing.
I am still a bit suspicious of gmail, and I already have far too many
different e-mail addresses active - five at the last count.
Thanks for the offer, though.
Laurie
