We have also stood our ground, and threatened to report any pharmacy
insisting that patient's get weekly scripts.
We haven't had a request for weekly scripts for ages.
Does the new Pharmacy contract deal with this? I think it may be an enhanced
service.

I don't know why people play this game.
It's so close to fraud on the part of the pharmacists who do it that I'm
surprised no-one has taken action about it yet.
If a patient needed extra money for food would we do weekly prescriptions so
the pharmacist could give them a loaf of bread, or maybe a roast as a treat
once in a while?
Dosette boxes aren't prescribable.
We've now stopped all weekly Px for other than clinical reasons.
Life goes on.
