Ooops, almost forgot.
Along with not top-posting, newbies should all quickly learn to format posts
properly.
It's not complicated. Anyone who can use google - and, after all, what
relatively intelligent person does not learn how to Google within hours of
first using a PC? - should very quickly be able to get hold of instructions
on using mailing lists.
GP-UK is one of the friendliest mailing lists I know. If anyone is put off
by some advice on top-posting, they will die a very difficult death almost
anywhere else on the net.
Learn to:
quote properly
trim quoted text properly
add your pithy remarks at the bottom
don't be a delicate flower on the net - if you can't help it, post to
alt.support.depression or some such
