I'm told that that there will be robust and failsafe connections via
broadband which will be the subject of actively policed SLAs and that
BT/LSPs will be heavily fined for not meeting the stringent requirements
to maintain what is recognised as being mission critial bandwidth. I
understand there are no plans for local caching, which begs the question
of what we are expected to do when the road digger goes through the
cables.
