Is he bending the needles on purpose to slide them in or by accident due to
a bizarre technique? Maybe a different device may help. I'd leave it to the
clinic nurse to deal- changing the administration procedure might result in
quicker (or slower) uptake and require a change of dose. Different device
may require change of insulin. Diab control is a long term issue and a
couple of weeks with his unusual technique is unlikely to matter much. How
long has he been injecting insulin?
As you illustrate, out your expertise re injecting technique is less than
his so I would refrain from offering advice!
