I have been very happy with my Netgear
http://www.adslguide.org.uk/hardware/reviews/2003/q2/netgear-dg824m.asp
and when it became apparent, six months after I had bought it, that the
wireless capability didn't work Netgear replaced it within a few days.
All the web port scans report it fully stealthed, but I continue to run
Zonealarm on the PCs rather than SP2's firewall, to trap outgoing
traffic from worms & viruses.
On the strength of that my daughter bought
http://www.adslguide.org.uk/hardware/reviews/2004/q3/netgear-dg834g.asp
which was equally easy to get going.
