I use a (now probably obsolete) D-Link DSL 604+ (22 Mbps).
Piece of P to install and set-up (PC came with a NIC already installed) for
immediate use.
Lots of configurable items in menu but unfortunately no clear instructions
on how to set-up firewall.
Now XP SP2 comes with better firewall so that problem is resolved.
I wirelessly network with wife's laptop, and old PC up in loft (both W98 -
no conflicts or set-up problems with those), and the PC in the loft still
gets 60-70% signal strength even through 2 old, thick ceilings (beams etc)
Router sits ~3' away from DECT phone - no evidence of interference
i.e. v happy bunny

Subject: Wireless router broadband modems
I have just had broadband installed (after BT extended the reach past 6km).
I am currently using the free USB modem but would like to replace it with a
combined wireless router/ADSL modem. Does anyone have an
recommendations/ones to avoid?
