Jenny you're not re-starting old GMS but starting nGMS for the first time.
Have a long hard think about staff and the services you are going to offer.
Additional funding from cytology, imms + vaccs will not cover the cost of
your nurse and if you opt-out of these the PCT may contract them with you at
a realistic fee.
Sure a nurse does more than that but the extra income from additional points
will still not match the salary, NI, superann, equipment, disposables costs
of the nurse.
If you want to provide an excellent service then go ahead but bear in mind
who'll be paying for it.
