I am all for being proactive when an obvious problem comes to light, but
you wrote earlier in your posting

Have you other similar examples in the practice where concerns have been
raised? Why produce protocols when there isn't a defined need for
them? Raising awareness is an excellent idea, but protocols -
aaaaaaahhh. Is this, perhaps, just something for you to do, to show
the Appraiser that you have Significant Event Monitoring in the
practice?
