UK small businesses don't like; want; trust outsourcing.
Survey by an outsourcer, which felt it had to nevertheless claim that
outsourcing would be good for us (for general practices are small businesses)
but still, IMHO, with reference to IT functions, wholly relevant.
Forced outsourcing of IT from an information-intensive undertaking, to what
one might describe as an unproven operator had one not seen the Customs and
immigration debacle, the passport anti-paragon and the courts cockup, and
experienced the NHS' record of IT planning, does not seem an idea aimed at
excellence or compatible with happiness or good performance.
