If anyone in London is going to this, could they let the lists know what
the managers think is happening in London?
My impression round here is that Trusts have just realised what it means
to them - and some IT dependant specialities - such as ITU - have
visions of their IT systems being abruptly withdrawn, with unfortunate
consequences.
I doubt whether that will happen - but nobody needs the current angst!
IHM London conference on IT
The Institute for Healthcare Management is running an evening conference
along with their London AGM on 29 June entitled "The National Programme
for IT: Connection London -- vision and progress". Topics will include
implementation plans, trust involvement and collaborative ventures. The
event, which takes place at the Newgate Suite in the BT Centre near St.
Paul's Cathedral, is free for IHM members and £10 for non members.
