I used to use dextropropoxyphene as first-line, but this has been
withdrawn from sale by Eli Lilly. Some of my patients who were
controlled on this have done OK on an equivalent dose of co-proxamol - 1
dextropropoxyphene cap 65mg = 2 co-proxamol tabs.
Various anti-Parkinson drugs are also sometimes helpful.
