Firstly, the GP/partnership trial is an even-handed relationship from which
either can walk equally easily.
Secondly, in the event fo failure of funding no element of blame can attach to
the incoming person/group/firm.
I put it to you, that it is on the face of it unreasonable to assume that
anyone would uproot themselves from one place, travel the length of the
country and embed themselves, merely on the basis of a suggestion that if all
went well in due course a job might be available.
