TSH may be high - under-replaced.
In addition they should have regular blood sugar and Hb checked - increased incidence of diabetes and pernicious anaemia.
I am not sure these need doing yearly but they should be once in a while. We discovered two diabetics last year in this way and we have several people with both PA and hypothyroidism.
