Minimum Requirements:
MSc in Statistics (or equivalent) plus a minimum of five years experience
working as a statistician in the pharmaceutical industry or related area.
Role Details:

ensure that all our major clinical trials generate the best results. There
is currently a vacancy at our Harlow site in the UK, within our team of
statisticians and programmers supporting the development of new treatments
for CNS disorders, including depression, schizophrenia and anxiety.
Statistical expertise is an essential part of the process in the
development of major new drugs and indications, and you'll be contributing
to the development of international clinical development plans, as well as
to the design and analysis of individual clinical trials. You will also be
involved in contributing to reporting aspects of studies that will form
the basis of regulatory submissions to major agencies worldwide. In
addition, as a member of the Biomedical Data Sciences organisation, you
will have opportunities to work with others on projects which may
influence future departmental strategy.
You?ll be a key member of global multi-disciplinary project teams, so you
will have demonstrated an ability to influence colleagues in complex
situations, and will possess excellent relationship building and planning
skills. Combined with this you will have an advanced understanding of the
drug development process and at least five years experience in the
pharmaceutical environment.
