APPLIED MULTILEVEL MODELLING WORKSHOP
The Royal Statistical Society
12 Errol Street, London, EC1Y 8LX
Thursday 13 January 2005 (09.30 - 18.00 hrs)
Friday 14 January 2005 (09.30 - 18.00 hrs)
The Royal Statistical Society will be running two further Applied Multilevel Modelling workshops on Thursday 13 January 2005 and Friday 14 January 2005. N.B. These are separate, stand-alone 1-day workshops and participants are invited to attend on either 13 or 14 January 2005.
The aim of these workshops is to introduce the basic theory, general techniques and applications of multilevel models. Participants should have a sound knowledge of regression analysis and experience of using statistical modelling software. The latest release of the MLwiN software, version 2.0, will be used. On each day there will be opportunities for a limited number of participants to pre-book a final end-of-day session during which, with the help of tutors, they can analyse their own data sets. N.B. There will be an additional fee for this session and participants will be required to bring their own laptop computers to the event to use during this session only.
Both workshops will be led by Professor Harvey Goldstein and Dr. Fiona Steele, Institute of Education.

The workshop fee is as follows:
£275 for non RSS fellows (non-academic) £190 for non RSS fellows (academic)
£235 for RSS fellows (non-academic) £135 for RSS fellows (academic)
£210 for CStats (non-academic) £120 for CStats (academic)
