Project Assistant
£14,000 gross p.a.
Fixed term contract (Jan 2005 ? Mar 2006)
With the web-based database project well under way, we are now looking for
a second assistant to join the team. Working with external partners and
internal departments, the aim is to improve access to Birmingham's science
and industry collections for target audiences, through developing new
online learning resources. Involved in responding to our visitor research,
you will have had experience of writing for different audiences, in
addition to developing web based resources with an understanding of web
authoring tools. Confidence in digital photography would also be
advantageous. You will carry out some object research and assist with the
development of gallery-based ICT learning resources.
The position will mostly be based at the Museums Collections Centre
situated in Duddeston, Birmingham, with regular contact made with
Thinktank.
