Subject: Re: CILIP effectiveness
Dear Mike
To quote the full context from my original paragraph:
"Simplifying the collection of subscriptions and giving all CILIP
members the opportunity to pay by instalments, would be a step in the
right direction. It is a win/win situation, as the cost which is
difficult to meet in one go, if you personally have to pay for your
membership, can then be spread out, everyone will be able to benefit
from the early bird discount, subscription payments become manageable
within a person's budget."
It is not an assumption. This was the information provided at the AGM.
Tayo:
You're missing the point here. I meant it was an assumption that people
won't find coughing up over a hundred quid at all difficult.
"Speak for yourself."
I am speaking as a member of CILIP. Everyone who is a member of CILIP is
part of the corporate body CILIP, the Chartered Institute of Information
Professionals.
We've done this one before. Exhaustively.
Regards-M
