I am astonished by the error of this enquiry. There was NEVER a British
Mandate in Syria.
As for Iraq - rather than pose helpers a task which might only reflect
sources already consulted should he not list what he has covered?
Has he for instance read Wilson's two classics which contain the barebones
of British medicine in Iraq 1914-20 (preliminary to the Mandate) or
Sinderson Pasha's memoirs or spoken to Iraqi doctors? Of the latter I have
in mind one distinguished Iraqi lady, Dr. Amina Murad, resident in UK in
recent years. Although he appears to be targetting the Iraqi School of
Medicine has he any actual contact with that institution.?
Help - guidance - is one thing; doing a student's work for him is another.
Detail of his source material would give a fair indication of the depth and
breadth of his research and possible oversights.
