Watch the 'Survivor' series and you get a good sense of peoples moral
codes in smaller and smaller groups!

Subject: moral codes
> Is morality built into an individual or is it a social function?
One person living in a world alone has no chance ot demonstrate his
morals since they depend to some extent on another being. You just need
to add one person, not a whole society, in order to see he has a basic
moral code inbuilt into his humanity. Unless of course the first thing
he did were to kill that other person. But would a human do that?
Curiosity and need for company would surely prevent that? Does that mean
he has morals?
>Is the complexity of the moral code related to the size of society that
it
>serves?
Maybe it is - living with just one other person is comparatively simple
but the more people there are to consider in each action/decision etc
then the more possible outcomes and the more steps to the decision or
action - and therefore probably a more complex moral thought process.
