One person living in a world alone has no chance ot demonstrate his morals since they depend to some extent on another being. You just need to add one person, not a whole society, in order to see he has a basic moral code inbuilt into his humanity. Unless of course the first thing he did were to kill that other person. But would a human do that? Curiosity and need for company would surely prevent that? Does that mean he has morals?

Maybe it is - living with just one other person is comparatively simple but the more people there are to consider in each action/decision etc then the more possible outcomes and the more steps to the decision or action - and therefore probably a more complex moral thought process.
