Subject: Golden Hello
Can I ask the experts:
For a PMS salaried doctor employed by the practice, shoulde we deduct the
emploYERS NI contributions from the total amount before we pay it to her??
The PCT have taken pension already from it and we have run it through the
payroll for tax and NI - but are left with an increase of around 500UKP
which is the employers NI - ouch!

(PS Am I forgiven for my faux pax regarding the out of office reply?? I am
home now and will behave!)
