Hi,
Thanks to all that replied to my request for a good solid book on
Multivariate analysis. Several people expressed an interest in my replies so
I have compiled these below.
The clear winner was
Mardia KV, Kent JT and Bibby JM (1979).
"Multivariate Analysis", Academic Press, London.
another favourite was
Multivariate Observations by GAF Seber pub Wiley.
Many people mentioned
Krzanowski's Principles of Multivariate Analysis pub Oxford
but acknowledged that it was not the most theoretical.
These texts were also recommended and are listed in no particular order.
C Chatfield and A J Collins, Introduction to Multivariate Analysis,
Chapman and Hall.
Pesarin, Multivariate Permutation Tests. Wiley 2001.
T.W. Anderson, An Introduction to Multivariate Statistical Analysis
Thanks to all who replied,
Glenn
