Research and Development Positions
Approx. 40,000.00 Euro p.a. (equiv. to a German BAT IIa or Ib position)
Due to successes in the application for funding grants of the state of
Bavaria the Department of Neurology at the Munich University Hospital is
pleased to announce the availability of two full-time Research and
Development positions for doctoral, postdoctoral or similar candidates
for a period of 3 years starting from 1 January 2004. The project,
entitled "Bio-Analogue Assistance Systems" aims to develop - among
others - a video eye tracker based mobile application.
Desirable candidates must possess a masters degree, German diploma or
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Human Computer
Interaction or a closely related field. Key to the position is
familiarity with real-time software development, image processing and/or
biomechanical and optical engineering.
The Department welcomes applications from all qualified persons,
however, we particularly invite applications from candidates with a
strong inter-disciplinary background in the area of neuroscience and
with an expertise in the development of medical, biomechanical or
experimental equipment.
