Health Economist: Consultancy and Research
Salary in the range £25,000-£40,000,
depending on qualifications and experience
The Office of Health Economics (OHE) wishes to recruit a well qualified and energetic health economist to expand its team. The new health economist will contribute to all three of the OHE's core activities:
* Consultancy (50% of their time)
* Advising the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (25%)
* Peer-reviewed research plus inputs to seminars and conferences (25%)
The successful applicant will have a first or upper second class undergraduate degree with a major economics content; a postgraduate degree in economics or health economics; consultancy and/or research experience in health economics. The ability to write and present well and deliver clearly argued analyses within tight deadlines is essential.
The OHE is a research and consultancy organisation located in central London focusing on the economics and policy of: the pharmaceutical industry; health care systems; and the evaluation of medicines and other health technologies.
