Government publishes consultation on amending rail provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act
The Government has recently published a consultation paper on its proposals to amend the rail provisions in Part 4 of the DDA 1995.
Amending the rail provisions of the DDA was one of the recommendations made by the Disability Rights Taskforce in its 1999 report "From Exclusion to Inclusion".
As rail services are not devolved, this consultation will cover England, Scotland and Wales.
