Just to remind you all of an email you should have had before CHAT, from Charlotte Frearson, telling you of a research audit she is carrying out for English Heritage into the recent and contemporary past, gathering refs to published and unpublished research on the subject for a database. This will be produced probably as a CD-Rom, but may also be available on the Web. Some of you have contributed already. This audit forms the first stage in the EH 20th century landscapes work that Graham Fairclough spoke about at the conference on Saturday.
There is also a bibliography of recent military heritage on the EH website, and more in the Modern Military Matters research framework, to be published by CBA (and available for downloading from their website) in the next few weeks.
I hope that's helpful.

Hello to you all
Having returned from CHAT I began to think about the published work out
there that I might not yet have come across - related to the topics at the
conference or on the theme Contemporary Archaeology. And I thought that
this mailing list might be a good place for people to advertise their
articles and books already published. And a good place for people like me
to collect this information -
So please - if you have published anything on, or want to promote the work
of others, on this subject send the details to the list and we can all
start gathering inspiration and reference material for our own work.
And here's one for the list
"Archaeological Sensibilities" (eds Fiona Campbell & Jonna Hansson) Gotarc
Series C. Arkeologiska Skrifter, No. 38, Göteborg 2000.
whilst waiting for the CHAT publication
