Subject: JISC Exchange for Learning: launch of new web resources
Dear Colleagues
Apologies for cross-postings
Exchange for Learning (X4L) is a Development Programme funded by JISC and
launched in June 2002 to explore adapting existing digital content for more
direct use within learning and teaching. X4L consists of 25 projects that
are adapting learning materials and creating tools for the creation of
learning materials. These projects involve teachers, learning resources
staff, learning technologists and researchers across over 100 institutions
UK-wide, as well as JISC services and commercial developers all working
together.
Web resources have now been created to highlight the outputs of the
programme one year on, including videos, presentations, and learning
materials. The resources give an insight into the progress of the
programme, as well as showing how further and higher education institutions
can benefit from the work being done by the X4L projects.
The web resources and further information can be found at:
http://www.jisc.ac.uk/index.cfm?name=programme_x4l.
A CD showcasing the materials being created by the programme is currently
in production and will be distributed to each college and university in the
UK in the coming weeks.
For further information on the X4L programme, please contact Susan Eales at

Kind regards
Paul
