Dear Colleague
New MA in Inclusive Education by Distance Learning
(2 years, supported by residential weekends and personal tutor system)
We are writing to you about our new distance learning MA in Inclusive
Education which we are running at the Institute of Education, University of
London. This course is designed for policy makers, teachers, advisers,
headteachers and those working in related areas concerned with overcoming
barriers to inclusion in education.
The first cohorts on the course started in September 2002 and they have
evaluated the course extremely highly so far. The course is relevant to
professionals working in a range of settings, and has a friendly ethos in
which ideas can be discussed in a supportive and intellectually open
environment. A particular feature of the course is the residential weekends
which are held in a very comfortable hotel in the centre of London. Full
tutorial support is provided on a group and individual basis. We have
decided to build on this success by making the course available more widely
and we are still able to enrol students for the new cohort starting in
January 2003 (the closing date for applications is December 9th).
We are interested in receiving applications from individuals and from groups
from schools or colleges or LEAs. If you wish to have further information
about the MA in Inclusive Education please contact Anjali Kothari
([log in to unmask] 020 7612 6425) or at the above address immediately,
and we will process successful applications as quickly as possible.
